At Buy African Foods, your satisfaction is our priority. We take pride in providing fresh, authentic, and high-quality African food products to our customers in Nigeria, the United States, and beyond.

Returns

  • Due to the nature of food products, we only accept returns if:

    • The product was delivered damaged, expired, or defective.

    • You received the wrong item(s).

  • To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.

Return Process

  1. Contact our customer service team within 48 hours of receiving your order at [your email/contact].

  2. Provide your order number, a brief description of the issue, and photos (if applicable).

  3. Our team will guide you through the return or replacement process.

Refunds

  • Once your return is approved and inspected, we will notify you of the status.

  • If approved, refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

  • In some cases, you may receive store credit or a replacement instead of a cash refund.

Exemptions

  • Perishable food items that have been opened or consumed cannot be returned.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party courier services once your order has been shipped.

Shipping Costs for Returns

  • If the return is due to our error (wrong or damaged item), we will cover the return shipping cost.

  • If the return is due to customer preference (e.g., wrong size/choice), the customer is responsible for shipping fees.
